Launch Meeting - Trent College - May Hall

Disappointing membership attendance

Had launch meeting last night at Trent College – very appropriate venue. Would have liked to have seen more members in the audience. Perhaps next time would include a RSVP reply – so we could contact members not certain about the importance of the event. Need to revisit this part of the process – perhaps a members meeting in February when there will tangible evidence of progress – after all it is for them. Dave Leighton of the ECB described the attendance as moderate. However many of our key partners were there and we gained some important ones during the evening – one who believes he can source all the paint we need.  Now drawing up database to ensure we remain in contact with these people.

Derby College have produced a materials requirements list – once the materials are in place they will start decorating the main pavilion. Combined their list with our own projects requirements to give us a comprehensive list
