Reflecting on funding opportunities which have emerged since we started developing our NatWest CricketForce event. Already received £300 from Eon@Radcliffe-on-Soar Power Station and expecting £500 from NatWest after the event. Have made small grant applications to Erewash Council [£300], Cash4Clubs [£250], Barclays Community Sports awards [£1000] and Erewash Cricket [£300]. Have realised that corporations will donate and provide volunteers to community projects. But the applications have to be made by employees.
