Final thoughts on the launch meeting – decided to produce a handout outlining ‘work that volunteers can help with’ – really a slightly altered version of meeting presentation slide.
Also printing a list of ‘in kind’ materials we need to make the event a success to capitalise on any enthusiasm on the night. Sending out as many reminders as possible – predicting 125 – 145 attendees.

Had another site meeting with Derby College – they are hoping to start work just after Christmas – so the pressure is suddenly on to find the materials we need. Luckily the action group have developed some detailed activity plans – so we have a good idea about what we need. May have to make a few minor adjustments once we receive a bill of materials from Derby College. Started contacting some of the organisations who might be able to help.
