Sponsored walk.

For the next few days the focus is on the sponsored walk – encouraging people to make a pledge or perhaps even take part.

Consequently issued Newsletter 2 – emailed all my contacts [approximately 115], sent copy to web master for distribution to his circulation list – while used the updated and cleansed play cricket database and its email facility to reach further members, supporters and partners.

The current kitchen in the GD Pavilion - badly needs refurbishment

[note - found a way of dividing the cricket club’s community into groups for email and data capture purposes – seniors, juniors, partners, supporters, coaches and press contacts. Suggests the club’s community is around 250 people – great way to communicate with people connected with club but not full playing members]

Also sent letter outlining ‘mini sponsorship’ deals to our vice presidents – not many of them on email. Included other ways they can help – join lotto ball or make a sponsored walk pledge.
