Beginning to approach major partners - will we succeed?

Made application to Lord Taverners for money towards resurfacing non turf pitches. Nearly completed application for Sport England – applying for mobile cage, sight screens and rain cover.

Started to approach partners for materials – this is one of the challenges of NatWest CricketForce.

Approached partners with whom we have a connection – Lafarge [20 tonnes of ballast], Wilko [crockery] and Long Eaton Glass [UPVC windows]. 

Will hopefully provide new crockery for GD Pavilion

 Visited Wilsthorpe School and met Graham Forde and Jane Hodges to discuss making a DVD record of the event. Looks like they are as enthusiastic as ourselves – involving Y8 students. They cannot believe the event is just across the road.
